Michelle has more than 25 years of experience in leadership development and engages in a full range of organizational and leadership assessment and development processes. She partners with clients to help solve their business challenges and build leadership capability in times of transformation and disruption. Her experience includes major account management as well as the design and delivery of large, global complex, customized leadership journeys.
Michelle has held numerous leadership positions at the Center for Creative Leadership and most recently the Vice President of Global Sales where she led a team in the development of strategic relationships with key global clients. In this role, she partners with clients to deeply understand their business and the people development strategies needed for a future that will be digital, disruptive, and exciting. She works collaboratively to design solutions with lasting impact and ensures every client experience exceeds expectations with sustainable change for individuals, teams, and organizations.
Michelle was also a senior leader at Deloitte Consulting in the Leadership Development Practice, where she was responsible for growing the business through the design and delivery of leadership solutions for key clients. In this role, she focused on accelerating the development of critical talent and ensuring that leadership development was integrated into larger talent strategies.
Michelle has had the opportunity to work with numerous global organizations spanning multiple sectors including manufacturing, high-tech, pharmaceutical, consumer products, telecommunications and media, large retail, health care and financial services.
Michelle thrives when working with individuals and teams tackling complex challenges. She takes a collaborative approach to her coaching work and believes together, possibilities, opportunities and a way forward can be identified. She encourages leaders to leverage their strengths while addressing development areas is a pragmatic way.
Michelle believes that new challenges require new thinking and through immersive experiences, leaders can tap into their creativity and new ways of thinking to solves the complex challenges faced today. Her work in leadership development and organizational capability building has exposed her to leaders, entrepreneurs, academics and others in over 20 countries on six continents. Michelle is noted by her clients for her energy and her creativity in the design and delivery of unique learning experiences that allow leaders to approach their organization’s challenges in new ways. Michelle has designed and facilitated a wide range of workshops and programs specializing in experiences over time or learning pathways for leaders at all levels of the organization.
Michelle is a Master Trainer in the 4MAT for Business design methodology and finds this one valuable approach to ensure that organizational outcomes are held primary in the design of any learning work with people. In addition, this approach takes individual learning preferences to ensure that the learning event makes connection with different learning styles while achieving the ability to address the root issues, explore and convey new information, and make connection to application that makes learning practical, relevant and immediately useful.
