Javier is a trilingual (English/Spanish/French) Executive and Team Coach who bridges the gap between technical engineering rigor and human systems dynamics. With an academic background in Business (MBA) and Mechanical Engineering, and over 15 years of experience facilitating team and organizational transformations, Javier specializes in coaching “rational thinkers” to lead effectively within environments of complexity and ambiguity.
Born in Spain and educated in France and the US, his career began at the forefront of the digital economy, where he promoted early internet adoption initiatives for Spanish enterprises, before co-founding and managing a tech start-up. This direct experience navigating the volatility of the dot-com era, combined with two years in IT Business Development, granted him empathy for the pressure and the ambiguity inherent in scaling technical organizations.
Since 2004, Javier has operated at the intersection of organizational development and leadership, bringing over five years of board experience in the industrial sector to his coaching practice.
Javier’s signature achievement is his +15 years tenure playing an instrumental role for the ‘Team Booster’ initiative within AIRBUS. In this capacity, he deployed systemic diagnostics and intervention strategies across more than 100 transnational teams (R&D, Engineering, Procurement,…) in Europe and North America. Javier helped these teams improve trust, alignment and collaboration, breaking cross-cultural silos to accelerate operational velocity.
From 2018 to 2020, Javier served as an implementer of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), an ‘organizational operating system’ designed to debug operational friction and synchronize team output. He deployed this framework to help entrepreneurial leadership teams replace ambiguity with execution rhythm, ensuring that high-level strategic vision was aligned with yearly, quarterly, and weekly objectives and performance metrics, (similar to OKRs) helping leaders install a culture of transparency and accountability.
Javier is a faculty member of the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). Since 2009, he has supervised and certified coaches in US and EMEA, supporting rational thinkers to embrace the coaching paradigm.
Javier facilitates a process of rigorous self-inquiry for senior leaders navigating the ambiguity and complexity in their context. Recognizing that at this scale of responsibility, the challenge shifts from operational execution to the nuance of organizational alignment, influence, and strategy, he supports executives in the critical pivot from primary ‘decision-maker’ to strategic ‘context-setter.’
Javier leverages diagnostic data—including 360s, Hogan assessments, and stakeholder interviews—to help leaders confront their ‘blind spots’ with safe rigor. This partnership is designed to dismantle the echo chamber that often surrounds senior leaders, ensuring that the leader’s impact on culture and performance is intentional, measured, and effective.
Javier’s ‘Team Booster’ architecture integrates three critical layers of team performance: Psychological Safety & Conflict Resolution (The “Human System”), Strategic Vision & Alignment, and Operational Effectiveness (The “Execution System”), where the goal is to establish concrete Next Steps and operating principles that prioritize high-value execution.
