Steve is a results-driven business development and operations leader who serves as the primary point of contact for Table Mountain’s clients and constituents. With over 25 years of experience across the nonprofit, higher education, and corporate sectors, he specializes in building strategic partnerships, driving growth, and leveraging data insights to enhance organizational performance. Steve has held leadership roles at the Center for Creative Leadership (5 years), the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (13 years), Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation (2 years), and in numerous consulting positions.
Steve led the national higher education initiative Degrees Matter!, a collaborative project with the Lumina Foundation, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. He also participated in and later was the program manager for Leadership North Carolina. Certified in MBTI and Gallup StrengthsFinder, Steve is also a Board-Certified Coach (National Board for Certified Counselors). His greatest professional achievement is coaching thousands of college students over the years, an effort recognized in 2010 when he earned the Academic Advising Administrator of the Year award from NACADA (National Academic Advising Association).
Steve holds a Master of Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts from Appalachian State University.
