EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Kathy brings to her clients over 25+ years’ experience as a global leader at both well-known Fortune 500 firms as well as startup organizations. She’s led global teams of up to 150 people and has an extensive background in business facing roles working closely with leaders from diverse industries, cultures and backgrounds. In addition to leadership roles internally, Kathy has, for the past 15 years, had a private Executive Coaching practice and has worked with senior level contributors to C-Suite executives in both individual coaching and team coaching and development engagements.

Background & Industry Experience

Kathy has over 25+ years of business facing experience in multiple industries focused on leading Global Talent Management, Organization Development and Change Management, Leadership & Team Coaching. She has extensive experience partnering with diverse executives, cultures, generations around the globe to lead and support the people and organization strategy. Internal roles Kathy has held: Chief People Officer – WePay (JP Morgan Chase) and PiLL Club; HR Leader for the Search Product Group – Google; VP of Integrated Global Talent Management – Intel Security (McAfee); Sr. Director of Talent – Sony Corporation, and Director of HR – Oracle/Sun Microsystems.

Kathy also either founded and/or participated as a Coach in internal coaching programs at Oracle, McAfee/Intel, Sony, and Google.

Coaching Approach

Kathy utilizes a pragmatic approach to coaching by guiding her clients to clearly articulate and measure their coaching goals with a result focused mindset. Because of her personal experience as a global corporate executive, she has a distinctive way of quickly understanding the context and culture the client exists within in order to be successful. Kathy is also a movement educator, with experience and education as a comprehensive Pilates Instructor. She believes in the concept of Executive Wellness as a foundation for healthy, productive habits and the integration of Wellness Coaching to a leader’s energy, productivity and performance. 

Facilitation & Teambuilding Approach

As an Organization Development practitioner for the past 25+ years, Kathy has worked with multiple teams (and tools) from around the globe with the goal of becoming high performing with high engagement and psychological safety. She worked on and rolled out Project Aristotle at Google, which focuses on ‘what makes teams successful.’ She’s also a licensed partner with The Five Behaviors, based on Patrick Lencioni’s model, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, a learning experience that helps individuals and organizations understand and reveal what it takes to build a truly cohesive and effective team.
