Mary delivers executive coaching and customized initiatives for senior executive teams and leaders responsible for driving organizational performance. Her experience draws from work with clients from global industries including energy, software development, consumer products, entertainment, insurance, investment and professional services, healthcare, higher education, government, non-profit, chemical manufacturing and more. In her previous role as Senior Faculty and Organizational Leadership Practitioner at the Center for Creative Leadership® (CCL), Mary earned positive client feedback for her group facilitation skills, individual and team coaching expertise, clear communication style, and ability to relate to multi-level global audiences.

Assessment  (Developmental, Multi-rater) 

  • Extensive experience facilitating assessment feedback initiatives with executives, teams, and certifying others on the use of CCL’s assessment portfolio. 

 Coaching (individual and/or team) 

  • Led individual and team engagements for a large energy firm, including the Executive Team, the Chief Information Officer and his team, the CHRO and her team, a newly formed internal change team tasked with radically shifting long standing organizational culture, and leadership teams within the Finance group.  
  • Led intensive long term coaching engagements with two top Marketing executives at a global Food Packaging organization, supporting the promotion of one leader to the CEO of their innovative new growth division.  
  • Coached the Senior VP of Campus Transformation at a national university as he led a campus wide change initiative in challenging economic circumstances.   
  • Worked with the CEO of a family-owned Food and Beverage company and his executive team challenged by changing market demands.  Worked with the team to improve decision making protocols and interpersonal conflict resolution among team members. 
  • Coached a regional VP of global NGO as she worked to develop organizational talent systems, increase her communication skills to better represent strengths, and balance work and family demands. 

Facilitation & Teambuilding 

  • Designed and delivered executive team coaching experiences and ongoing team development sessions that encourage high performance and healthy group dynamics.  
  • Facilitated numerous small and large group leadership development programs, effectively engaging classes through expert facilitation and design techniques that encourage active participation and reflection. 
  • Led classroom and table coaching engagements for coaching skills programs offered by CCL including Coaching for Greater Effectiveness® and Coaching for Human Resource Professionals® and Better Conversations Every Day®.

Mary is qualified in 4MAT® instructional design techniques, and is certified in AOeC’s Team 360, CCL’s suite of 360 assessments, Hogan assessments®, the FIRO-B®, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)®, Workplace Big Five Profile™, and other assessments used to enhance leadership development engagements 

Education & Professional Affiliations

Mary holds a MA degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University. She is a certified coach having completed an extensive program through the Columbia University Coaching Certification Process (CCCP®). Mary holds an International Team Coaching Certificate through the Academy of Executive Coaching Ltd. (AoEC) and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF®).
