As both an operational leader and an organization development professional, Nancy has over 25 years of experience developing leaders. She is an accomplished leader, coach, consultant, facilitator, and trainer. Her focus is on partnering with leaders and teams to strengthen their effectiveness, accelerate their performance, and enhance their contributions to the organization.

Background

Achieving the highest credential from the International Coach Federation, Nancy is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with extensive experience coaching senior executives, high potential leaders, and teams. Nancy builds trust quickly, guiding leaders through a collaborative process to define their leadership aspirations, accelerate their performance and advance business outcomes. In addition to her affiliation with TMCG, Nancy is an Adjunct Coach with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a member of the Executive Coach Cadre with BPI group, and a Master Trainer with the Institute for Healthcare Communication.

Nancy spent over decade as a leader at Aurora Health Care, a 15 hospital health system, where in her last role she served as Director for the Leadership Coaching Center of Excellence. In that role, Nancy designed and implemented the enterprise-wide Leadership Coaching Center of Excellence. She oversaw internal and external coaching engagements, provided executive coaching to senior leaders and physicians, developed internal coaches in alignment with International Coach Federation standards.

Nancy has worked extensively with leaders and leadership teams in several industries, including government, pharmaceuticals, health care, airlines, and automotive. Her clients are senior leaders whose backgrounds include engineering, medical, science, and regulatory oversight. Their responsibilities include securing our nation’s health and safety, fighting diseases, creating new technology, and driving innovation.

  • CEO for two county visiting nurse associations – Coaching Goals: Increase leadership effectiveness by developing staff and building strong working relationships with board members. Results: Client shifted leadership style from “command and control” to “leader as coach,” and empowered her staff to grow and develop. She held individual meetings with board members to better understand their passions and strengths, and engaged them in the growth of the VNA.
  • Senior Director, Medical Group for health care system serving 30 communities in two states – Coaching Goals: To merge two medical groups with different systems, philosophies and structures and develop leadership skills to move to a higher position with greater responsibility. Results: By listening and empathizing with concerns, the client built trust quickly with leaders, and inspired them to work together for the greater good of the patients. Through self-reflection, he aligned with his passion as a leader, and enhanced his executive presence, crediting coaching for his promotion to Vice President of the system’s flagship hospital.
  • National Nurse Manager for global biopharmaceutical company with 7,500 employees in 40 countries – Coaching Goals: In her newly promoted role, foster a strong working relationship with her boss and develop a high performing team. Results: By clarifying key strengths and aligning with her leadership purpose, the client increased her confidence as a leader, allowing her to build an authentic relationship with her boss, and develop a strong, trusting team committed to quality and results.

  • Airlines Sector: Led cross-cultural team to design, develop and conduct training to merge two separate flight attendant cultures into one professional, well-trained international flight attendant group. Facilitated MBTI Teambuilding workshops. Led cross-departmental team to develop and implement Alternative Work Schedule policies and training; Designed and implemented Sick Child Care initiative.
  • Pharmaceutical Sector: Designed and facilitated Team Executive Presence Workshops.
  • Healthcare Sector: Spearheaded enterprise-wide Service Excellence Initiative. Led cross-functional leadership team to merge two healthcare systems. Developed and managed OD staff to support multiple sites and service markets. Facilitated MBTI Teambuilding workshops.
